Category: Polymer Plaster
Description:
Saten is a finishing layer gypsum plaster which is used as last layer after siva gypsum application providing a glossy and shiny surface. It can be applied on other surfaces, such as fat surface, gypsum block surfaces, gypsum panel gypsum board surfaces, and eye coarser surfaces.
By using micronized gypsum powder and polymer based compounds in this product, it has advantages of long setting time and very bright coverage in comparison with ordinary gypsums.
Properties:
Ø High adhesion power and easy usage
Ø More stability and persistence than normal plaster
Ø Less permeability into humidity
Preparation of Mortar:
Fill a clean (dust, oil and small particles should be removed from surface of the work) container with 5.8-6.5 liter water for each 10 kg bag of the product. Slowly pure the gypsum in the water, to cover its surface. Wait for 2-3 minutes for floating gypsum to sink by soaking. Mix water and gypsum at a low speed by a mechanical mixer until a proper mixture is obtained.
